Hydraulic Brakes ( Construction and Working mechanism)

Image
Hydraulic Brake ( construction and working ) Construction of Hydraulic Brake) The construction of the hydraulic brake is shown in the figure it consists of two cylinders, one is a master cylinder having a piston with a small cross-section and another is a brake cylinder having pistons with a large cross-section area. These two cylinders are connected through a pipeline filled with brake fluid. The Piston of the master cylinder is attached to the brake padel where the pistons of the brake cylinder are attached to the brake shoes. The working mechanism of the Hydraulic Brake  When the driver presses on the brake padel, a piston moves inward, pressing the column of liquid contained in a master cylinder. The applied pressure is transmitted equally through the liquid and this pressure provides sufficient force on the brake shoe to stop the moving vehicle.
